Where are my “not enough hours in the day” people at? You know this girl often has both hands in the air at that question! Don’t worry, I got your back today – I think you might love what I’m about to share with you!

Known emotionally as the oil of renewal, Basil is all about helping fight fatigue. In fact, that’s probably my favorite way to use it! When you live life by the seat of your plants, always flying from one thing to the next, it can drain you just a wee bit. Lean on Basil to help you in those instances. Some of the highlights of using Basil essential oil would be to help relieve feelings of tension, cooling the body, adrenal support and stress relief! Moms also love Basil too when their littles are dealing with ear discomfort – they swear by putting a drop on a cottonball, swiping it around the ear and down the neck and then ripping off a small piece of the cottonball and sticking it loosely in the ear. Try that next time!

Another way people love to use Basil is in their cooking!! Check out this recipe (click here or on the picture) for Basil Spinach Pesto and whip that up next time you’re at a loss for what to cook. If you’re wanting a little more info on using Basil for adrenal support, in doTERRA’s Empowered Life series on Immune and Respiratory Health Roxane Bybee shares a really potent way to use Basil for just that! This entire video is incredible, but if you want to check out Roxane’s suggestion on using Basil, fast forward to the 9ish minute mark!
