You know what’s so funny? Sometimes some of my favorite oils are the oils that people have the most questions on! Like AromaTouch for example – I loooooove this blend so very much, it comes with me everywhere (literally – it’s in my purse with my other 10lbs of oils I can’t leave home without lol). It’s also one of the oils everyone looks at, scratches their head and goes hmmmm…. and how do I use this?! I think it’s the words “massage blend” that throws people. I mean, if you’re not massaging, what would you need a massage blend for? Well, from one non-massager to another, let me tell you the reasons I love AromaTouch and what I personally use it for.

First, some basics about this blend – AromaTouch, doTERRA’s proprietary massage blend, combines the unique benefits of oils known to provide relaxing and comforting effects. AromaTouch combines our essential oils of Cypress, Peppermint, Marjoram, Basil, Grapefruit, and Lavender essential oils in a perfect blend that adds many important benefits to various massage techniques. This popular blend is a vital part of the doTERRA AromaTouch Technique, a proprietary method for applying essential oils to produce a profound whole-body wellness experience.

Uses

  • Apply to neck and shoulders to promote feelings of relaxation and lessen tension or use with a carrier oil for massage.
  • Give your loved one a hand massage using the AromaTouch Hand Technique and AromaTouch Massage Blend.
  • Add to Epsom salts and enjoy soaking in a hot bath.

Directions for Use

Topical use: Apply one to two drops to desired area. Dilute with doTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil to minimize any skin sensitivity.

Happen to know anyone with circulatory system issues that could use a little extra support? This blend is your guy! AromaTouch is so amazing to help support a healthy circulatory system. Because this oil has a conifer tree oil in it, it makes this blend super grounding – remember, oil properties go back to the plant/tree. Trees are strong and grounding right? Same applies for the essential oil of that plant/tree! It also has a citrus oil (Grapefruit) to help give it uplifting properties, so it would be a great oil to use when you need a little mood uplift. A few other key points to note about the oils in AromaTouch – Basil as we talked last week is super amazing for fatigue – fatigued body, mind and/or spirit. Marjoram is great to help with relieving tension (which is what makes this a great oil for massaging muscles!). Peppermint is cooling and tingly, also great for sore muscles and joints (and a bit invigorating!). Lavender is all things calming and relaxing. So basically what you can expect to feel from AromaTouch is a little bit of stress relief, a little bit of grounding, a little bit of relaxing, a little bit of uplifting, a little bit cooling, maybe even a little energizing.

Oh and PS – it’s actually one of my favorite oils to use in a bath!! Word of caution though – some people have said that they can really feel the Peppermint in this blend (ie. it leaves them feeling cooler – like Joe Cool, but temperature wise!). I’m a hot-blooded Italian, I can use all the cooling I can get so it doesn’t bother me at all, just passing along what they tell me!

When you use it what do you feel? What are your favorite ways?
